Ruby’s at the Beacon, Saturday 27th November

Sadly Ruby (my 1938 Vauxhall) declined to make the journey to Wantage on this cold morning but we were pleased that the very fine Rover had no such pretensions.  His owner, the very dapper  Simon Brown of The Vintage Chauffeur was on hand to offer his services for vintage loving brides and anyone else who fancied travelling in style.

There were plenty of vintage loving stallholders and visitors throughout the day who arrived at the Beacon in Wantage and we hope you all had an enjoyable time.  One of the great pleasures of running vintage events are the people you meet and the friends that you make and it’s so lovely to see people back time and again at Ruby’s.

Steve Conway was his usual talented self and kept us entertained during the Fair so many thanks to him.  Carli Morris peformed retro beauty makeovers with friend Emma of Kitschy Koo fascinators to top it off!

Our last event of the year is at Compton Verney Art Gallery and Park on Saturday 10th September and then we have a break until late March of 2017.  That doesn’t mean that your busy organisers will be resting completely – we still have a few events and venues to finalise for next year and we will be announcing them soon
